Ai está uma gravação de Joe Williams no Newport Jazz Festival, em 1963. São 16 musicas – com uma banda dos sonhos de todo jazz Singer, na qual se destacam os sax tenor de Coleman Hawkins, Zoot Sims e Ben Webster e os trumpetes de Clark Terry e Howard McGhee. Adoro esse disco, é o Joe Williams vocalista de jazz em sua melhor forma. Escutem com atenção, especialmente a performance de todos em Roll ‘Em Pete.

I think my brother had this one. I guess he played at Newport a few times; I think once with Count Basie as his backing band.

Your brother is musician already? It must be a lovely experience play with Count Basie, isn`t? I like Joe Williams very much - more as a jazz singer than a baladeer.

LOL, the "he" was Joe Williams, NOT my brother, who barely qualifies as a music "owner", sorry for my misspeaking.
